Driving along East Lake Road, you may have noticed a pop of green drawing your eye toward the south side of the road. This bright green stand is none other than Widewood Flowers: a local self service flower shop. North East Elementary school teacher Colleen Bahm is the farmer behind it all. Open weekends in the summer while supplies last, Wildewood Flowers offers bouquets of sunflowers, dahlias, alstroemerias and more depending on the bloom of the season.
More of a “flower fanatic” yourself? Sign up for Wildewood Flower’s Bouquet Club CSA (Community Supported Agriculture). Choose from the Flower Friends Club or Bloom Buddies Club to receive locally grown, quality cut, fresh flowers on a bi-weekly to weekly basis.
Follow Wildewood Flowers on Facebook for special deals, giveaways, certificates and more. Or visit the stand at the north-west corner of 10989 East Lake Road before summer is over! Click https://wildewoodflowers.com/ for more information.
