Featuring live music, vendors, food and more. Organized by the Lions Club with assistance from Historical Society & North East Community Foundation

Picnic in the Park – Thursdays, June 15 – Aug. 17 (excluding July 6) in Gibson Park

Free entertainment and crafts for kids. Programming provided by the North East Arts Council.

Pets in the Park Pet Parade – June 17 in Gibson Park

Organized by The Skunk & Goat Tavern

Open Market – Saturdays, June 17-Sept. 2 (excluding July 8) in Gibson Park

Homemade and homegrown goods, food, live music and much more. Organized by Enjoy North East.

Erie Philharmonic Free Outdoor Concerts – June 28, July 12 and Aug. 2 at 7 pm in Gibson Park

Organized by North East Community Foundation and The Skunk & Goat Tavern.

Enjoy the Fourth – July 4, 4 pm to dusk in Gravel Pit Park

Featuring family fun, music by Abbey Road, food trucks and fireworks at dusk. Organized by Enjoy North East with assistance from the North East Community Foundation.

Firemen’s Cherry Festival – July 5-8 in Heard Park

Carnival rides, games, food, 5K and parade to benefit Crescent and Fuller Hose Companies.

Farm Heritage Days – Aug. 12-13 in Gibson and Heard Parks

A celebration of North East’s agricultural heritage and those currently farming. Featuring live music and daily performances by the Axe Women Loggers of Maine, a hands-on STEM fair for kids Saturday, tractor and farm equipment show on Sunday, along with specialty vendors, chainsaw artists and more. Organized by Enjoy North East.

Wine Fest – Sept. 22-24 in Gibson Park

Harvest celebration featuring wine tasting from 10+ wineries, live music, food and numerous artisans, plus 5K, car show and cycling tours. Organized by Enjoy North East.

Fuller Hose Co. Fall Fest – Oct. 6-7 in Gravel Pit Park.

Tree-mendous Night of Lights – Saturday after Thanksgiving

Kick off the holidays with family fun, parade and lighting of Gibson Park and a 40-foot tree in Heard Park. Featuring outdoor movie, live music and fireworks. Organized by Enjoy North East.

Sugar Plum Shopping – first Saturday in December

Start your shopping with the merchants of North East. Featuring special sales & promotions, plus family fun including live reindeer, ice-carving demos, Santa’s workshop and letters to Santa, horse & carriage rides and more. Organized by Enjoy North East.
