Gibson Day + Farm Heritage = Saturday full of fun June 8

Enjoy North East invites you to kick off summer at Gibson Farm Heritage Day.

Held June 8 in downtown North East, this new one-day event celebrates local artists and crafters along with farmers and the fruits of their labors.

Join in the fun from noon to 8 p.m. in Gibson Park and enjoy the amazing Axe Women Loggers of Maine, live country and local performers Dan Baney & Tyler Smith and the Eliot Road Trio.

Don’t miss the petting zoo from 12:30 to 4:30 pm or tractor show featuring antique and modern machines from local collectors and dealers.

Visit more than 50 vendors for a huge variety of handmade and unique products.

Fancy some food? We’ll have food trucks onsite along with nine wineries offering samples and sales. (Tasting pass ticket is required for wine sampling.)

Admission is free. Wine tasting tickets are $20 and include a souvenir stemless wine glass. Visit tickets.eriereader.com for tickets and nechamber.org for more information.

This event is brought to you by Enjoy North East with support from Pennock’s Cub Cadet, North East Athletic Club, ECGRA, Trolley Line Vineyards, Orton & Orton, BC Auto Repair, Grape Coast Property Management, North East in Bloom, Bemiss Agency, Lawnworks Landscaping & Mowing and Walker’s Tree & Ground Services.
