Registration is now open for the 2024 North East Community Yard Sale hosted by the North East News-Journal.

Visit sales at more than 100 homes throughout the borough and township Friday and Saturday from 9 am to 4 pm.

Before you shop, be sure to pick up the map which highlights the locations.

Cost is $10 to register your sale with the News-Journal and be included in the map. The deadline to sign up is Tuesday, May 28. Stop by the office at 39 S. Lake St. Monday-Thursday from 9 am to 4 pm or contact them at 814-725-4831.

While you’re in town Saturday, be sure to stop by Gibson Park for the Gibson Farm Heritage Day celebration featuring the Axe Women Loggers of Maine, live country music, petting zoo, tractor show, vendors, food trucks and sampling from local wineries. The event runs from 12 to 8 pm. Tickets are required for wine tasting, general admission is free.
